Job Description

This company manages over 40 restaurant locations in Japan, including other locations in Korea, Hawaii, and Los Angeles!
We are looking to hire a kitchen chef at our location in the beloved city of [Los Angeles]!

The <<Japanese Restaurant>> is located in Little Tokyo.
It is a very popular spot among the locals in LA ♪

As a restaurant, we are looking for a kitchen chef who can handle all general areas of cooking♪

[Job Description] general culinary duties
Your position will begin with simple preparations and serving.
We will also ask you to create sushi and teppanyaki dishes prepared upon a large, flat-top teppan grill, as well as developing new menu items.

※ You will also undergo a set training period (about three months) in Tokyo, Japan.
If there are no issues with your performance during the training period, we will begin applying for the work visa.
※ The interview will be a direct interview in Tokyo. (Primary interview can also be via Skype)

◇ As this is an overseas location from a Japanese food and beverage company, you can rest assured that the work environment will be safe and comfortable.

Given the living expenses of Los Angeles, the first few years will be appointed as a single employee.

◇ About deposits and savings:
After arriving in the US, you should try to save some money until you get settled.
It is recommended that you have deposits of about 1 million JPY when traveling.
This amount is an estimate based on the experience of chefs who have relocated to work in Los Angeles in the past.
These tips will allow you to concentrate on your work and maintain a healthy, balanced life.
