Working at a seaside resort in Malta! This restaurant serves Sushi on the sea?!

This restaurant features an outdoor area where diners can enjoy sushi, wine, and other Japanese cuisine with a spectacular ocean view!
Please join this diverse team of chefs and staff!
Among the kitchen staff of 6, 3 of them are sushi chefs.

・Assist the Chef de Tournant on an as needed basis in the area assigned to him/her on the day.
・Preparing food products in accordance with menu requirements, quality and quantity criteria, etc.
・Maintain the integrity and authenticity of recipes offered at the respective restaurant/section.
・Search for authentic and substitute ingredients which are available on the Maltese Islands.
・Optimize cooking processes to meet speed and quality requirements.
・Maintain outlet safety at all times.
・Managing all food handling processes to meet HACCP food safety guidelines, regulations and procedures. (Company will provide training and guidelines.)
・Obtain food handler license. (Company will provide training and support.)
・Interacting with customers: discussing the menu and promoting the dishes on the menu.
・Participating in training and development programs offered by the organization.
・Maintaining a climate of friendly co-operation.
・Work within the budgetary framework established for the department.
