Job Description

Authentic and simple high end Edomae sushi restaurant in Hong Kong!
Do you want to serve Edomae sushi with the Japanese native executive chef on a Japanese Hinoki wood counter?

＜Details＞
・Consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive customer service while supporting fellow staff members
・Ensure all kitchen coworkers are aware of standards and expectations
・Liaise daily with chefs to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback
・Continually strive to improve food preparation and presentations
・Maintain proper rotation of product in all freezer/refrigerator units to minimize waste/spoilage
・Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions
・Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards
・Other duties as assigned by the Executive Sushi Chef based on various business demands

Requirements & Notes

・If the candidate leaves the company in the first 18 months of employment, he/she will be requested to fully repay the relocation support and training package costs to the company (around one month’s salary)

Requirements

・Working experience: 5-8 years sushi experience ・High-end Japanese restaurant (10000 JPY per customer) ・Good knowledge of Japanese tradition and cuisine is a MUST ・Strong knowledge and skills in sushi dishes and ideally in Omakase Language: Japanese native English: Not required, but daily conversation level is preferred Documents required for visa application: High school graduates: 10 years working reference University graduates: 5 years working reference Academic Graduation Certificate
