Job Description

In Seattle, where many Japanese chefs reside
this Edomae-Style sushi restaurant is well-loved.
Utilizing fresh ingredients that can only be obtained locally,
this restaurant has been offering authentic sushi to its customers for over 20 years.

Currently, they are looking to hire a restaurant manager with a fine eye
for details who can help provide a splendid experience for the diners.
You will be at the center of operations among our team, helping to further
foster an environment of teamwork and progress.

Floor Manager Job Description：
（１）During operating hours, oversee tables, service, and quality of service times
（２）Check in on customer satisfaction
（３）Handle any customer complaints
（４）Thorough service　
（５）Assist communication between kitchen and sushi bar
（６）Shift management for front of house (server/host)　
（７）Managing drinks　
（８）Managing reservations
（９）Hiring front of house/evaluating performance　
（１０）Creating various reports, other.

Income

$60,000～$80,000(6.50～8.7 million JPY : 1/2019 exchange rate）

Holidays

・5 Work days/per week; 2 days off/per week（55 weekly working hours） ・Closed（6 days annually）： 　New Year's（1/1), Memorial Day（last Monday in May）, Independence Day（7/4） 　Labor Day（First Monday in September), Thanksgiving（4th Thursday in November）, Christmas（12/25） ・Will receive paid time off after one year of employment（During long vacations, store holidays are also counted as PTO）

Requirements

・Experience as front of house manager in a restaurant with 60 seats/monthly revenue of 30 million JPY ・Proficient in English and Japanese (You will need to use English in various circumstances as a floor manager) ・No formal qualifications required ・Around 45 years of age (based on staff composition)
