Job Description

This is the first Kaiseki restaurant within a hotel to obtain a Michelin-Star in Europe!

The majority of their 15 staff members are Japanese!

The ingredients, dishes, and customer service are all highly-rated both within The Netherlands and abroad, meaning that they have many customers from within The Netherlands, as well as from Japan and across Europe.
You can prepare teppanyaki dishes while interacting with customers!

＜Job Description＞
・Prepare food fitting of an upscale restaurant
・Provide guidance for teppan staff
・Ingredient, cost, and sanitation management
・Offer menu suggestions to the head chef
・Management of teppan staff, etc.

Requirements & Notes

About the Contract: after the one-month probation period, your contract will be renewed for 2-3 years. long-term employment is possible after that

Hiring Process:

　→Two Rounds of Interviews (based on interviewer availability via Skype, in Japan, or on-site. The hiring manager is also the head chef.)

€30,000～48,000 ※depends on experience and character

Holidays

・2 days off per week; shift system ・25 days annual PTO ・6-7 days holiday compensation ・38 hour work week, 10 hour or less work days, overtime

Requirements

The below are required: ・5 or more years of teppanyaki experience ・Possesses chef's license (for visa acquisition purposes) ・Japanese: Native level Other: ・English: Not required, but we welcome candidates who will be able to interact with our customers in English
