Job Description

This is the first Kaiseki restaurant within a hotel to obtain a Michelin-Star in Europe!
It's your chance to prepare sushi at the counter while interacting with customers.

The sushi counter and private rooms seat 120 guests in total.

Of the 25 staff members, most are Japanese!
The female staff wear kimonos,
and all of dinnerware is beautiful Japanese craft chosen by the Japanese head chef.

This restaurant is highly praised for its food, customer service, and ambiance.

The customers come all over from Europe and North America, with relatively many VIP guests.
It sets the stage for your ot share Washoku with guests from around the world.

・Prepare food fitting of a Michelin-Star restaurant
・Guidance of Washoku staff
・Ingredient, cost, and sanitation management
・Interacting with customers at the sushi counter

Requirements & Notes

About the Contract: after the one-month probation period, your contract will be renewed for 2-3 years. long-term employment is possible after that

Hiring Process:

　→Two Rounds of Interviews (based on interviewer availability via Skype, in Japan, or on-site. The hiring manager is also the head chef.)

Income

€30,000～48,000 ※depends on experience and character

Holidays

・2 days off per week; shift system ・25 days annual PTO ・6-7 days holiday compensation ・38 hour work week, 10 hour or less work days, overtime

Requirements

The below are required: ・5 or more years of sushi experience ・Possesses chef's license (for visa acquisition purposes) ・Works cleanly and professionally ・Japanese: Native level Other: ・English: Not required, but we welcome candidates who will be able to interact with our customers in English ・Experience working at sushi counter within a hotel welcome
