Seeking Head Chef Candidates for a Luxury Sushi Restaurant in Singapore

Job Description

We are seeking sushi chefs for our luxury sushi restaurant set to reopen in Singapore in February 2024. Our restaurant is renowned for aged sushi, a style known as Edomae sushi, with all ingredients imported directly from Japan. Our establishment receives top-class fish not only from Toyosu Market but also from skilled Ikijime masters across various regions.

Candidates will join as potential head chefs, aspiring to manage the kitchen alongside the owner chef. Responsibilities include general preparation, business operations, and staff management. The typical working hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with breaks in between. We are looking for passionate individuals who dream of running their own restaurant abroad and can potentially take over the business in the future.

Requirements & Notes

- We will respond within one week of receiving your application.
- Required documents, such as your resume, may need to be submitted upon request. Please include photos (both sides) of all the knives you use.
- The period from document submission to interview is expected to be 2 to 3 weeks.
- There will be only one interview, conducted in both Japanese and English.
- A minimum of 10 days is required to inform candidates of the recruitment decision after the interview.
- Visa support for family members can be discussed.
